Description

The DAH brushcutter-chippers are land clearing and vegetation control tools mounted on excavators and backhoes. These industrial, hydraulic attachments are ideal for intensive brushcutting - site development, transmission line and pipeline right-of-way development and maintenance, and roadside maintenance work.

DAH brushcutters use DENIS CIMAF’s patented horizontal-shaft rotor technology with fixed knives and bolt-on cutting blades, a design with numerous advantages:
High efficiency unit that does not require additional power pack […];
Highly productive operations, owing to optimal cutting angle […];
Two, chevron-like rows of knives that direct the brushes towards the center of the rotor rather than to one of its extremities […];
Blades that can be sharpened right on the unit […];
Bolt-on blades that allow for fast replacement […];
Thermally treated forged steel blades that deliver maximum resistance to impact and abrasion […];
Knife holders that come with protective discs, thereby considerably reducing risk of breakage of welded parts on rotor tube […];

DAH models offer variable displacement, axial-piston motors that minimize overheating problems and improve re-acceleration, […] and timing-belt drive to eliminate slippage.

There are two types of DAH brushcutters: the standard version designed for intensive use, and the heavy industrial version intended for the most difficult and demanding jobs. Both versions offer narrow and wide cutting widths, providing solutions for 7- to 30-ton excavators.
